Yeah, well, you know how I made Literary Girl’s Trio? Well, the trio and I performed @ Milledgville and everyone in our school that participated in the events got 1st place!!! EXCEPT US. Yup. We got 2nd place. Bummer. But our school still won Region. So our points added up to theirs. :) See, Literary grades you by points. No team HAS to go to State. If they don’t get enough points EVEN IF THEY PLACE 1st..they don’t have to go. We scored 89 & 76 for each judge that judged us. And they can score you from 1-100. So I guess that’s good. :) I wish we would have got to go to State though…. :(

Well, I made the trio. YAY. But, allstate was terrible! :[ the judge stopped me on my warmup which lost my focus. I messed up on the first part of the piece and then it continued. :.[ oh well.
Girl Trio Auditions

So, today I auditioned for Girls Trio. I don’t know if I got it yet, but yeah. I had to sing a song of my choice without any music or anything…just my voice. In march we sing this advanced song agains girls and compete….overnight deal. :) Cross your fingers I got in it!!!
District Honor Chorus

So, I was chosen out of the High School Chorus…to go perform a few songs that we would see that day. We worked from 8:45 AM to 7:00 PM and then performed. It was a great experience (did I spell that right?) that I will never forget. The songs were awesome..a bunch of kids from High Schools all over the CSRA performed with us.
We sang these songs:
- Jubilant Song
- Dravidian Dithyramb
- For Good
- Seal Lullaby
- My Soul’s Been Anchored in the Lord
If you haven’t heard any of these songs..you should listen. Especially #4. I can’t wait to do it again. (Atleast I hope I’ll be chosen again.)
